Challenges between business functions are often rooted in unclear or misaligned direction, competing priorities, imbalanced resource allocation, and unclear expectations of one another regarding work flow handoffs. We expand the “Growing Inspired Teams” assessment to evaluate the ability of multiple departments or business units in working together across the organizational hierarchy or matrixed structures. The process results in a shared vision for success, increased clarity of the dependencies between departments, and clear agreements regarding work flow dependencies and the use of shared resources.
